Biblikids is play materials on stories in the Bible. You get all the materials to put on a play with children. I gave my information so that I can get my children having fun and using the Word of God at home. I recieved the materials today and we watched the example dvd. It was on the story on Adam and Eve. We were very excited to get started. We had a "table reading" much like they do for television and we sat around reading each other's lines out of the scripts that it came with. The packet also came with workbooks and other helpful dvds. We are going to practice everyday and get things to gether so that we can put on the play in our backyard. In the meantime I have to take photos of our progress and blog it as well at the biblikids website. I'll also let you know how it goes when we finish! and blog some pics! |

I am presently living in New York working on Broadway. I really enjoyed filming "Adam and Eve" It was great that my first film was Bible Based. I have since gone on two a television movie and even starring on Broadway as Young Nala in Disney's The Lion King. I owe it all to being a Bibli Kids with good morals. All children should have a copy of this DVD to teach them about temptations. India |

We just completed the first in the series of BibliKids: Adam and Eve. Varina and I had a great time working with the kids to create the DVD of 6 very creative artists putting on a play from the Old Testament. All the performers brought so much excitement and creativity to the performance it was a true joy to help them create the play you see here. Also, we created a book series for each episode that guides kids and parents through the process of creating their own plays. My dream is to see kids all over the country creating their own play based on the BibliKids series. When I was growing up my brother, sister and I used to put on plays for my parents in the living room. We would pull the couch away from the wall, turn it around, and use it as our backdrop. I remember creating plays about our Summer days and showing our performance for who ever would listen. When our five cousins would come over, the eight of us would take it to an entirely new level that was always fun and never predictable. We would make costumes out of the cloths we could find in the closet band props out of construction paper and cardboard. Producing this series brought me back to those fun days as a young kid with my siblings.

When it came time to find six kids to be a part of the BibliKids, we had a huge amount of help from a great acting coach who worked with a bunch of child performers. We found six talented kids who came to work prepared and ready to put on their play. We had such a good time shooting Adam & Eve. After the kids came prepared for their parts, it took us only two days to get ready for the performance. We went through rehearsals, then dress rehearsal and finally the star performance, which you can watch on DVD.
